Gasol to the Bulls

Its getting close that Pau will end up with the Bulls. It started with Boozer and 1st rd pick for Pau and now Lakers are asking for MDJ and 3 non guaranteed contracts James, Brewer and Amundson. Don't know why Lakers would want that because with Boozer they have a starter and a big time expiring contract.

Bulls want Boozer in the deal. If not Bulls will cut boozer and cost them more money.

Gasol and Noah is going to be a scary front court.

MElo just chose the knicks. Really dont know why they are pushing for Gasol when we need a shooting guard. Gasol 3 years ago, sure, 34 year old gasol playing Thibbs minutes is another consolation prize.

Houston getting involved for the third team, fitting that the lakers, bulls and houston lost out on free agents that took them for a ride. Might be good if Houston wants boozer, lakers dont seem interested.

Couldn't agree more... except to say he is a step up from Boozer, but not sure its HUGE, but I think there are other parts of his game that fit the Bulls better than just points and rebounding. Like actually having the ability to play some Defense.

Its a big step up from Boozer. Gasol is an all-star. Man our front court is loaded. Noah, Gasol, Gibson, Mirotic, and Randolph.

Gibson positioned himself to be the starter this year, now he is back to sixth or 7th man. Taj will probably be the good team guy and welcome him, but might be pretty pissed. Dont know how much he has left or how much he is costing or how long this will be, its being called a multi year deal, thats til he is 37 or 38.

3 year at 22 mill. Great deal for the Bulls. 7.3 million for an All star PF. Love this deal.

Just hope this consolation prize is better than boozer. At least the buyout wont be that bad if he is finished. Third year is a player option, would have rather had a mutual option, but its all about this season.

Still would have rather gotten stronger at the 2 for this money, but dont think many teams will be able to defend the bulls when they go big. Just wondering if the bulls see mcdermott playing some 2.
