Jimmy G is an average NFL starting QB. Maybe he is even slightly above average. His best attributes are a quick release and quick decision making. He isn't terrible like many people say. He's an easy target for blame and extreme takes, but that comes with the territory when you are a starting NFL QB.

I do wonder if he would've developed into a very good QB if he didn't tear his ACL in 2018. Before that injury, he had a much better ability to escape pressure and extend plays.

He was the QB, they got there, he deserved some props… Sure it’s team game, gotta have a defense, gotta have balance, which the Niners have had, but almost 2 Super Bowl appearances ain’t bad … Dan McGwire would have failed .. LoL

Not great, but he still came through in some clutch moments to help the Niners advance, winning is winning as a team …
