After a week to calm down after the Baylor game, I see this as a young team who will struggle on the road, but no one wants to play in Morgantown.

This game is in Morgantown.

I am calling the upset.

A suprisingly low scoring gaem favors the Mountaineers.

Yet again, hard to say, does the team that beat OSU show up, or the "team" that didnt show up at UMD not show up again. TT has some speed that concerns me, but not the speed that Baylor had, our defense should be OK, the offense?????? Who knows, we change QB and OL like we change socks and underwear. I think we stand a chance in this one, but must play perfect. WVU 28, with 14 scored by the D, TT 24.

No, I have to fill in for one of my partners at work on Friday, and the 12 noon kick-off time screwed me. I was planning to go if it were a 3:30 or 7 start, but it is unreasonable to try to make it there for a noon game.

I haven't had a chance to do anything this week, way too busy. So I'll blindly guess WVU chokes late and TT pulls it out 31-27.

Had to sell my tickets for this one, have a baptism in Florida and will be with my Florida St crew for their game this weekend. At noon though I will be in front of a TV somewhere...lol

Given that TT is undefeated (even though they haven't played anyone of merit), they did beat TCU who is .500 and could still turn around their season. WVU beat a good OSU team and could/should have beaten Oklahoma - though after they way they played against Texas - hmm? So even though WVU is .500 so far, I am giving them the edge (+2) for 2 reasons - the game is at home and this will be the Red Raiders 1st experienece in Morgantown. If all goes well for us, I see a tight game but a winable one. We need all of the wins we can get if we have any chance at a bowl game this season. Not going to a bowl could deal a blow to our recruiting and as everyone can see - we need new blood, quality players, on this team.

This has all the makings of a WVU upset. WVU was embarrassed by Baylor and will be looking for redemption (aka OSU syndrome). WVU has had the week off to prepare. WVU must still be pizzed that TT started our downward spiral last year. TT has not played difficult competition, while WVU has already played 4 top 25 teams (including Maryland for a short time). TT has a rookie coach. Finally, WVU is at home.

With all this, How could we lose?

How could we lose?? After the last 12 or so games no one should be asking that question of this team. They could lose with poor execution on the front lines of both sides of the ball. Indecision and poor decision making by our QB (whoever he might be) and fielding a team that is ill prepared for the schemes of the opponent across the field. Hard to think that could happen with a week off to prepare, but sometimes that is worse.

Overall - I think the week off should help this team recover from Baylor and heal up some injuries.
I would hope the coaches have come up with a good game plan and the players are able to execute.
If we lose this one at home - we may only manage 2 more wins.
