WRT the fair catch delay of game:

The rule has been changed since the UConn incident a few seasons ago. In that game, the returner told a ref he was going to wave his hand, but it would NOT mean fair catch. Ofcourse the other team saw him wave his hand, thought it was a valid signal and watched him walk into the endzone. To fix it, the NCAA took out all doubt. Almost any hand signal now is considered an "invalid" fair catch sign, which means the same thing as a valid one. One of the refereeing examples of the rule specifically includes a situation when the returner waves off, then fields the punt off the bounce.

Side note, DC did a damn good job punting. I think they said he averaged 47.5 a punt. Why wasn't he kicking all year?

Defense looked good especially the D-line. Our pass defense was sketchy at times but held. Run D was outstanding. I actually liked how we came out throwing and then went to the run. Teams expect us to come out running and they load up on it. We softened them up by throwing and DW ran wild in the 2nd half.

Hmmmm didn't know they changed it. Solid find. All I take from this is that the Big East needs to be eliminated! They manage to ruin college football even when their lack of talent is not involved.

How is answered by the video. Why? Because he's a scallywag. Just a hamburgalur little scamp with a black eye-band that denotes his criminal allegiances and a shifty look about him. Personally, I approve of this ballsy thievery just because of the sheer brazenness of its approach and execution. It's like hiding the ball in plain sight. It's the truest embodiment of "if you get away with it, it ain't cheating". That's the American Way.
