To me, not having a QB in the division thats ever been anything more than "Eh, ok" is more important a statement than the records, which ignore a million mitigating factors

There wasn't anything to answer. There just aren't many good QBs in the NFL overall, and there are other divisions that the same thing can be said. It was simply a weak attempt by your to salvage a failed argument, resulting in yet another fail by you.

But I'm not twisting the argument at all. I'm providing the facts. The AFC East 2nd-4th place winner has won more games than any other division in the AFC. That's a fact. The Pats have played the 3rd most playoff teams since 2001 and have by far the best winning percentage, that's a fact. The Pats have played the 2nd most winning teams since 2001 and have the best winning percentage, that's a fact.

The competition within the division plays a large part

Just as a small example, Seattle wouldnt be lesser of a team because a few years ago, they had to get through a powerhouse Arizona and San Fran within their own division
