I’m less than enthused. He doesn’t play STs and as you said, is on the descent of his career. I won’t go all Crash on Decker if we sign him, but I won’t be running out to buy his jersey.

I've already got Decker's jersey. Actually have two of them (on mistake) so I can give Geo one for free.

Although Jordan Taylor would have to switch for it to be legit.

For the record I would imagine if Decker is signed here he would compete with Henderson and or a draft pick for the 3rd/4th WR spot. If he doesn't win a top 4 spot or maybe even top 3 spot depending on his contract then we'd release him.

If he falls to #4 like Geo said someone like Bennie Fowler and Jordan Taylor play special teams which is valueable. Unless our top 4 WR's including Decker look terrific I'd expect it to be to compete on a low end contract. No harm in it type of deal.

But is a great plan. Even better if we don't need a punter at all out side of holding for extra points and field goals. The 2013 season with Manning we were close to that at times. Yeah not really realistic, but you know.
