Yeah he is gonna come down here soon. He isn't getting top dollar, but I would give him a nice 3 year deal.. Just awlays been a fan. I wouldn't give him top dollar he hasn't earned that just yet.

Would you give 6 mill a year to Brown? I sure as heck would. Not digging Todd Davis as the starter next to Marshall.

Any chance we look at Rey Maualuga or is he too broken down at this point?

I guess depends on the money he wants. He is a liability in the pass game. Do we really want to continue with having RB's just go out of the back field for huge gains when matched up 1-on-1 with our ILB? I like some of the options in the draft much better.

Broncos lose $4.5 million in 2017 salary cap…

Denver’s loss in salary cap space is due to a repayment of an NFL loan that teams were allowed to take in 2011 and 2012

Denver’s loss in salary cap space is due to a repayment of an NFL loan that teams were allowed to take in 2011 and 2012. The Broncos took the maximum loan, $3 million in 2011 and $1.5 million in 2012. It’s now time for that loan to be repaid in regards to the salary cap. Those loans came during the uncapped year following the 2011 NFL lockout and the adjustment to the new collective bargaining agreement in the year that followed.

More than half of the NFL teams took out loans during that time. Some took the salary cap hit before the 2017 repayment deadline. The Broncos were one of several teams, including the Patriots, Cowboys, and Saints, to see the loan repayment on their salary cap this spring.

My guess is we are pretty much done with free agency as we are just inside our 10% of our cap space. Might sign a guy or two on the cheap after the draft but nothing major probably.

I've never seen a more quiet offseason all around the NFL then this year.. It felt like after the first two days things were REALLY quite and after the first week VERY quiet.. You now we will add a FA or so after/around the draft, but at this point they are gonna be fighting for roster spots.

I think it would be fun to have the draft first and then free agency. After the last pick in the draft then the vets and Rookies would all be free agents. It would be a long boring time until the draft, but it would be more interesting from then on. The other part that would do is give the rookies a chance to be part of all the OTAs as they would not start until after the vets signed in free agency.

We shored up a few holes along the Oline, as well as the Dline. But DLine signings were more camp bodies to me than anything.
