QB Crest & Sills

WR Gibson & Durante (look like White/Alford or Austin/Bailey)

RB Shell, Buie & DTW

OL/TE Jones & Wolfley

DL Howard

CB/S Chestnut, Henry, Cole, Douglass

That amounts to more than half of a starting team. We still need more Beef up front, but at the skill positions, we are looking very good.

I think it is coming slowly but surely.....I like the how they have pieced this thing together and most importantly they are not having to throw in guys right away to play on the line. They have time to develop and with the size they are bringing in that development time is becoming shorter and shorter. Look at DH's online at TTech, I think we are on the way to something like that.

One of the knocks on Dana by his haters was a concern he would recruit Texas and forget the traditional recruiting areas. For some reason, these haters must think kids from Texas would not be as invested in WVU as another kid who didn't grow up in WV but a nearby state.

Then… these haters picked up on the amount of JUCO's he was recruiting…. they'd state you can't sustain football programs with JUCO's. When someone would support the need for JUCO's to fill the void left by Billy's tenure as HC, they'd claim Billy left the cupboard full.

Now, Dana has finally reached the 85 limit. In fact, he is at 89 players with this class… so, 4 players will have to face a consequence of being over the limit. Few JUCO's were recruited this year, but both recruits were highly ranked.

Another… to add to your 4 star list… you have the JUCO CB… Rasul Douglas. He is a JUCO top 100… based on Scout… with a #29 overall. While not a 4 star…. Larry Jefferson… a Scout 3-star… was also a JUCO top 100… #67 rank… at DE.

There are also the two transfers from Michigan… both 4 stars.

The great thing about where the program is today… last year… Freshmen were not forced into action. Dana was able to redshirt a ton of talent. The same will be true of this class. It bodes very well for the future of this program.

:agree:

When you are a program that the core of your recruiting is a 3 star kid..he is going to need time to develop...red-shirting is critical...Dana finally has the succession plan in place the way it should be..

Going to come in very handy after next year when we will lose a ton of starters....we should have a huge signing class next year probably in the 30 to 35 range, but hopefully with development time and talent we have been bringing in we can reload faster than we have in the past.

We had patience with Nehlan, really hoping we have patience with DH I think he is taking us in the right direction. I think he is really invested in the success of this program, even more than a lot of people thought he would.

Douglass is on my list. I did not include the Michigan transrers as they may have to sit out a year.
