Why I pick Seager for trade is that he does have trade value, a lot of teams are in need of a 3B upgrade, he is still in prime years, and we actually have a replacement for 3B in Motter and DJ if he keeps improving on Tacoma. They could trade him and not have to dump the season.

$76.5M left on his contract after this year for 4 years. Team option for the 5th year. High, but not untradeable for high return. He would be just less than Wright next year and just a little more than Pablo and Beltre. Maybe you pay some or take back a contract, but I still think you can get a pretty good value for him.

And Paxton, (until he shows this start was a fluke)

I'm done, I've kept saying it takes time but this shit is foolish....
Hell I'm for tearing the damn stadium down to build a new area for the Sonics and I can't even stand the NBA!

Well Safeco Field is where the Sonics arena was suppose to be back before the Seattle council screwed over the Ackerley's.

I still think the organization is just stuck in purgatory. Won't ever spend enough to go all in but can't afford to do a full rebuild.

I hope the few who went to see this ChiSox series demanded their money back after watching them crash and burn again. Counting last night and tonight.

The demand for answers grows with the frustration...

There's nothing you can do with this team besides raze it and start over. Seriously, fuck this franchise. We went from a bad GM to a worse GM and the roster is completely fucked right now. Felix is well on his way in his decline, Cano is overpaid as fuck, Cruz is 35 and probably has no interest finishing his career here, Seager is maybe a wash with his salary, ... At this point it's everything must go time because there's absolutely nothing they can do to fix what they have.

For starters it would be great if they actually started nailing some draft picks, considering we draft near the top pretty much every fricking year... We need to keep and develop our talent and stop overpaying for other teams casts offs.... Build from within and then KEEP the talent you develop ...

This close to All-Star Break. Okay guys, you know they're tanking. Is that part of your plan? You just gonna let it happen, or do you intend on actually DOING something about it?

Yesterday should be considered the final straw when they fuck up five times in one inning.

Is THIS what you guys in the offices had in mind?!

Maybe this is what Jerry meant when he was going to retool the defense?

What I don't understand is how the Mariners in 15 plus years haven't had a really good prospect blossom in our minor league system.... I mean WTF, we've drafted near the top for a decade and a half and we have no young stars to show for it...

Oh hell that answer is easy, they'll say it's the last front office's fault!

With the dumb mistake of pulling a pitcher who had a decent start last night in favor of a struggler, my suspicions grow stronger. If any of us were watching this unfold, we'd be coming down on Servais on the spot!

It's starting to look more and more apparent that the new front office is about as apathetic about performance as the last bunch.

Unfortunately this is what the new owners (and past owners) see:

The team means little as long as the fans are happy with bells and whistles.
