C.C Sabathia and Cliff Lee are 2 of the most overrated "aces" in history

Lee, with his career 3.53 era. Don't get me wrong, hes good, but to me he's always been overrated. He had a really really damn good postseason in that 2009 Phillies season, since then IMO, he's been......I dunno.......meh a good player to have on a team, but not at that price, I don't think hes ever pitched well enough to cover that price

They gave a relevant stat tonite about Lee. Since 2008, his post-All Star game record winning percentage is .661 or twice as many wins as losses.

Cliff Lee's stats from '08-13:
2.93 ERA, 81-48, 178 starts, 24 complete games (12 shutouts), 1274.2 IP, 139 ERA+, 1.09 WHIP, 1132 strikeouts (8.0 K/9), 192 BB (1.4 BB/9), 5.90 K/BB, 34.4 WAR

He's easily been one of the best pitchers in the league over that span.

Sabathia was an absolute workhorse. He had 1199 IP from 07-11 in the regular season and he was pretty dominant. That workload might be getting to him, unfortunately.

OP is completely lost. COMPLETELY.

Both Lee and Sabathia have been outstanding. Lee has been spectacular over the last six seasons. Sabathia has struggled this season and may finally be wearing down, but that bastard has pitched a shit load of innings over the last eight seasons.

Both of those fuckers take you deep into games AND give you low WHIPS and ERAs. That is what top pitchers do.
