Disagree. Clemens throwing the bat at Piazza was worse than Zimmer getting thrown to the ground. Had pedro pulled back and busted Zimmers face, that would be dirty. But the old man charged pedro with his head down and pedro just brushed him aside.

I am with you there. It was one of a gazillion baseball brawls that just happened to have had an old man get knocked down. Blown way out of proportion.

Yeah, ARod's play might be #1 in the list for most chickenshit plays of all time, but not dirtiest.

I didn't see it on the list but the first thing I thought of was Roberto Alomar spitting at umpire John Hirschbeck, Spitting is pretty damn vulgar.. I could see a lot of fights as being "cleaner" than spitting on someone. Happily, Alomar and Hirschbeck made amends and, even after being ordered to make a charitable contribution to the disease than claimed Hirschbeck's son, he voluntarily donated $250,000 later on. Hirschbeck was vocal about hoping Alomar got into the HOF and, when he was diagonosed with testicular cancer, much later on, Alomar was there to reach out to him.

So, a lot of good can come out of a moment of ugliness. That be the, uh, moral of the story there, lol.

Pete Rose....it's funny that the clip they put up on Rose as an all time dirty play is actually calling for a vote of if it was this the greatest moment in all star history.

Pete Rose did the right thing and was the game winning run. A great play by any standard.
