The Sun Belt, Big West & Southland Conferences are all 2-0 in first round play & the Ivy League is 1-0.

Of the Power-5 leagues, the SEC is 7-1 in opening-round games, the ACC & Big 12 are each 4-2 (with one team from each of those two still waiting to play their openers), and the Big 10 is 1-4. The Pac-12 opened at 2-2.

Florida St., North Carolina & Houston all lost first round games at home, and Stanford lost at home on Day 2.

Actually, the Houston regional & the Tallahassee regional are the only ones where the top two teams lost on opening day. Florida Gulf Coast was actually the No. 2 seed at the Chapel Hill regional; Michigan was No. 3.

The Big 10 conference is shit. And Nebraska men's athletics as a whole is shit. Huskers win the regular season championship and proceed to lose 2 straight to Yale and Holy Cross :L

With all due respect, baseball never was the Big 10's thing. Truth be told the conference as a whole is at a geographical disadvantage. It is summerlike weather on Christmas out here. They are able to practice outside year round. Northern teams have to battle the elements which is not to say the talent level is the same, but it definately impedes a teams ability to improve.
