If any of you guys want to get in a full mock off-season send me a message. It includes FA, draft, trades, cap considerations, etc. It's legit. A bunch of us have been doing it for damn near a decade now. It's a solid commitment so only sign up if you have availability over the next 6 weeks or so. We'll try to get you your favorite team.

so in my draft every pick was an A, A+, A- and i got an A- rating, you have a 4 guys under an A and you get an A rating, i dont get it

Volume dude, volume. Let's look at what we both ended up with.

A+: Me 3 (1,4,6), you 2 (2,7)
A: Me 3 (1,5,7), you 1 (2)
A-: Me 0, you 4 (1,3,4,7)

I scored better but you got 7 bodies and I got 6 so let's call it even. But then I got 4 more totally decent bodies on top of this.

Like I guess what I'm basically saying is that if you had 7 first rounders and got Bs on all of your choices I suspect you'd probably still get an A overall. And if you only had one pick in the 6th round but made a A+ choice you'd probably still get a D or worse overall.

The other posiibility is that the site is in fact giving me credit for the 2017 1st rounder I picked up.

But I didn't just have volume though, you'll notice I had two 1st rounders and my first pick was still #7 overall. And in the "All As" draft that you posted you didn't even select until #30 overall, and I'd already picked twice (an A+ and an A) before that.

So here's another thought I had, it may also take into account how the rest of the draft actually goes and what else is left on the board. So basically two people can get different grades for picking the exact same player in the same spot in separate drafts.

its a thought, i know in one, literally the only CB's left for round 1 with round 1 grades were apple and fuller, and thats about right, and those are B grades for pgh, makes no sense

It's easy to see how someone could think that makes sense. They think that you should have waited to take a CB given what was available and taken something else in the 1st round (or traded down again). One can certainly disagree with that, but it's not like the explanation completely defies logic.

Another way to look at it is to match up the drafts by position. We both got Miller so he cancels out. Then we had 4 common positions

OT: Tunsil vs Conklin
DE: Zettel vs Tapper
CB: Hall vs Burns
OG: Alexander vs Walsh

I've got two that are better and you've got two as well. It seems more than fair to you to say (Tapper - Zettel) = (Alexander - Walsh), so let's do that and cancel those out as well. (Burns - Hall) is a greater advantage than (Tunsil - Conklin) in terms of rounds/picks, but the site obviously loves Tunsil and the value gap between picks gets greater the further up the draft you go. But let's err on the generous side again and call it a small advantage for you on that exchange.

So with 5 players on each side out of the way we've got you with a little advantage. Let's see what else we got from the draft.

Ezekiel Elliot
Scooby Wright
Jordan Jenkins
Miles Killebrew
Yannick Ngakoue

Jarran Reed
Jayron Kearse

I'd take the first group over the second, wouldn't you? I think the gap there is bigger than the gap between the previous sets of 4, and then if you throw in the 2017 1st rounder from Baltimore it's a no-brainer.

Here's another Tennessee draft that's pretty good but still short of an A+.

Your score is: 7499 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (L.A.): Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss (A+)
Round 2 Pick 2: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama (B+)
Round 2 Pick 5 (BALT): Darian Thompson, FS, Boise State (A-)
Round 2 Pick 12 (L.A.): Kentrell Brothers, ILB, Missouri (B+)
Round 2 Pick 14 (L.A.): Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 1: Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State (A)
Round 4 Pick 2: Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia (A-)
Round 4 Pick 16 (OAK): Jayron Kearse, SS, Clemson (C)
Round 6 Pick 18: Cre'von LeBlanc, CB, Florida Atlantic (B-)

Your Future Picks:
2017 Round 1 Pick (BALT)
2017 Round 1 Pick
2018 Round 1 Pick

Here's the crazy part though... this was only the 4th best team in the draft, and the Patriots were #1 with a score of 7838. You wanna know who they drafted for that score? Will Fuller at#60, Jordan Howard at #84, and Briean Boddy-Calhoun at #204. That's it, that's their entire draft. Maybe they traded one of their 6th rounders for a 1st rounder next year or something? Hahaha, I just don't get it man.

I understood the point that you were making. The site obviously doesn't think as much of Kendall Fuller as the projections you're looking at do. It's as simple as that. You may disagree with their valuation, but it's not logically inconsistent to give you a B based on that.

It's crazy when you look at the top scores. I can't imagine how you get a score over 12,000.

Another question I have is about the 2017 and 2018 picks, do they count in the final grade? Or is it to your benefit points-wise to just trade them all for 2016 picks?

I've been screwing around with a bunch of teams and this is one of my better ones (it's Tennesee). But like I said, I feel like it's probably not getting credit for the extra 2017 1st rounder I grabbed trading down in the 1st.

Your score is: 7763 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 7 (S.F.): Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss (A+)
Round 1 Pick 20 (NYJ): Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State (A)
Round 2 Pick 2: Vadal Alexander, OG/OT, LSU (B)
Round 3 Pick 1: Scooby Wright, ILB, Arizona (B-)
Round 4 Pick 2: Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 1: Miles Killebrew, SS, Southern Utah (C)
Round 5 Pick 18 (NYJ): Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State (A)
Round 6 Pick 2: Deiondre' Hall, CB, Northern Iowa (A+)
Round 6 Pick 18: Anthony Zettel, DE, Penn State (B)
Round 7 Pick 1: Yannick Ngakoue, OLB, Maryland (A)

Your Future Picks:
2017 Round 1 Pick (BALT)
2017 Round 1 Pick
2018 Round 1 Pick

Ok, they're definitely giving credit for the 2017 pick. I got this for Cleveland, and it's probably better if we just consider 2016

Your score is: 7542 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 18 (IND): Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis (A)
Round 1 Pick 21 (WASH): Robert Nkemdiche, DT/DE, Ole Miss (A-)
Round 2 Pick 3 (DAL): Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama (B+)
Round 2 Pick 16 (N.O.): Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State (A)
Round 2 Pick 17 (IND): Kentrell Brothers, ILB, Missouri (A-)
Round 2 Pick 19 (ATL): Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas (A)
Round 3 Pick 15 (N.O.): Nick Martin, OG, Notre Dame (A)
Round 4 Pick 12 (L.A.): Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers (A+)
Round 4 Pick 17 (ATL): Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame (A)
Round 6 Pick 15 (L.A.): Daryl Worley, CB, West Virginia (B+)
Round 7 Pick 2: Yannick Ngakoue, OLB, Maryland (C+)

Your Future Picks:
2017 Round 1 Pick
2018 Round 1 Pick

That would be a hell of a draft for them. Drafted an entire offense pretty much.
