I guess I read it wrong, I thought you guys were talking about playoff teams losing OOC games. Sorry.

I think they were talking about the losses going into the playoffs by the teams that ended up as champions:

OSU lost to Va. Tech before the playoffs in 2014, Alabama lost to Ole Miss in 2015 & Clemson lost to Pitt in 2016. Once they are in the playoffs, all the wins & losses are non-conference.
