MY putting SUCKED balls!!!

Finally didn't have any "pop ups" with my driver but did have a few long liners (which I am trying to do more of, not that low but lower). Granted I need a 9.5 driver, not a 10.5 that I have (I am 6'5")

Granted I think I might have gotten poison ivy..

Oh and almost got drilled in the back on the head with an arrant tee shot, oh which there was NO FORE called!

I did come up a little short on my irons than I am accustomed too but I attribute that to having "new" irons. My dad got a new set and gave me his

Only hit into one bunker as well. That's because I totally mis judged how far I was from the green

Always good to get out for a round!

Like we've said before...with the amount you get to play...can't be too hard on yourself, it's all good.

Since you said it was an errant shot, maybe that ass wipe didn't see you....we hope anyway.

possibly. However it was a terrible shot and it was way off target to a blind fairway (the one I was on)

If your clubs were fitted and the ones you got from your dad are shorter, that can account for a yd or two less distance.

My dad's clubs are slightly longer than my old ones. Heavier too. But no, those clubs weren't "fitted" to me persay... the club pro where my rents have a membership at (little 9 hole) is about 6'2" and they were his clubs from "Ping" so they somewhat in a way were fitted for me I guess.

I do that sometimes too but not a peep...

Rule of thumb though is to yell fore when you know it's not even close to your fairway though, isn't it?

Yea, but sometimes someone can yell and you still don't hear it.

Sounds like a reasonable thing to me...most of the courses I play if there is a parallel fairway, most of the time there are trees separating them...it would have to be really long and really bad to somebody.

Interesting, longer and heavier, it seems like the ball might go farther.

Fitting is kind of a what is comfortable thing I think to some degree. I'm 6'3" with 34" sleeves...my clubs a 1/2" longer than standard and lie bent 2 deg upright. My buddy says he's 6' 4" (maybe at one time, he seems the same height as)...his clubs are 1" over standard and 2 deg upright.

perhaps I was a little tired. But it just seemed like the ball wasn't going as far off my irons as I am accustomed too.

Too make it more of needing to yell fore... They were parallel fairways and the one I was on was up a huge blind hill
