If 7-10 of these guys were signed right now, we'd be anywhere from 15th to 6th in the country depending on who they are.

247 has a neat little calculator.
One thing you have to remember is that we won't be the only school getting more commits. You can compare that calculator to the final class rankings from last year and get a good idea of where we'd end up on signing day.

right around 15 is prob best case scenario after comparing. I don't know anyone who's gonna complain about that.

Yep I was going to guess 15 if things go extremely well, but I just threw together a list that put us at 23 and I would be VERY happy with:

CJ Verdell, RB
Randal Grimes, WR
Kurt Rafdal, TE
Deommodore Lenoir, CB
Jamire Calvin, WR
Chris Walker, OT

That puts us at 23 commits and #23 based on last year's numbers.

Beal would be a great on. And I'd do a backflip if we can Get shelvin

That would be just about the most improbable recruiting coup in the history of Nebraska football.

But hey if you told me 2 years ago that we'd be flipping a top 10 WR from Ohio State I wouldn't have believed it.

This is twice as improbable.

That seems a lot more realistic.

I'm not so sure about Lenoir, betting Donte lands us at least one nice DB for this class still

I think Lindsay brings us back into consideration for him. That said, I agree that if we don't get him, we get one out of the Lenoir, Blades, Johnson bunch...or some other stud DB.

Our RB recruiting has me pissed off.

Tre was nice, but this is not what we're accustomed to.

Did the scheme scare RB's off? They don't seem to be trying hard enough with top 10-15 RB's.

Like yeah, swung for the fences with Carr, but I don't see them putting the time in with guys like Eno Benjamin who is SOLID. I don't know the story there, but that's just one example.

It's like we went from diamonds in the rough at WR to blue chips, and blue chips at RB to diamonds in the rough.

(I know Tre was ranked 8th by 247, but his composite is weak)

In today's Nebraska football you need to be able to recruit first and coach second, there's plenty of red flags with Davis in that regard, 2 seasons worth now. Ga head and get on to the house already I say

Benjamin fell off our board for off the field reasons. We had an Oregon commit on campus this weekend who we have a good shot at flipping. We don't need too many at that position, and I'm not sure why you're down on Bryant. He is going to be solid.

And you seem to be forgetting our best recent back was a DB in Auburn's eyes, so we haven't been exactly killing it with blue chip RB recruiting.

I'll take average RB's who don't fumble over the 'greats' we had that fumbled away every big game
