That doesn't disprove my point whatsoever.

Your point is meaningless because no team plays up to their ceiling every week. Which is why when I say ND could have won the title playing up to their ceiling it's a load of bullshit, just like your point.

Holy shit you're coming off looking like a complete moron.

Reminder: UCF has a top 10 OFEI, ODS, OAY, OFD, OTD, and OTF.
Reminder: Wisconsin wasn't top 10 in any of them.
And yet, UCF faced one defense that was worth a damn, and they couldn't have cared less about playing in the consolation bowl they were facing off in. Again, Auburn had nothing to gain. UCF scored 27 points, and 7 of those were off a TO in the RZ by Auburn.

Yeah, except that's what this has all been about - hypotheticals. I didn't intend this to turn into a week long conversation that would go this far off track. I made a comment, then even broke down down the matchups to support the argument.

Hey, let me know when you find some sort of statistic that's adjusted for strength of opponent that says UCF isn't a top 10 offense...

Well can we say that USC didn’t give a shit about the Rose Bowl, wee Cotton Bowl because they played like shit? Had they played to their best they would have destroyed you by 35 points?

Yeah, and your argument is completely misguided because you think USC and Wisconsin have better offenses than UCF, which is backed up by literally no evidence. I mean, even I think Ohio State would have beaten UCF, but UCF was still a top 10 offense.

Wisc #50 offense
UCF #5 offense

(CBS rankings)

Both teams played Maryland 4 weeks apart Both teams scored 38 points. UCF 428 yards Wisconsin 440 yards

I guess Wisconsin had an elite offense, too.

You can say that about every team that's ever lost a game, doesn't mean it's true. If you saw Auburn play you'd know what I mean. USC had a lot more to gain than Auburn did if they had won.

So you're honestly telling me if you had a national title matchup on the line facing, let's say, Alabama or Georgia - you're taking the 5'11", 177 midget at UCF with a mediocre at best RB crew and one decent WR who only really showed up against shit teams over USC with their elite QB, elite RB, and NFL caliber WRs? or Wisconsin with their elite OL, elite RB, and NFL-ready TE?

So you can't find anything either that disputes UCF being a top 10 offense?

I don't know what you guys are arguing about specifically, but Ohio St would open as 14-17 pt favorites against UCF.

lol. All these elite players on offense for both teams, yet UCF was still a top 10 offense from an efficiency standpoint.

I did. They have nothing but a bunch of players that played well against really shitty teams and then got up for their only game of the year against a real team who didn't give a shit about being there. There's no doubt at all that any of the top 15-20 ranked P5 teams could have put up those sort of numbers with that pathetic excuse of a schedule UCF got to play.

Common opponent. I have to wonder what Wisconsin would have done offensively against your schedule.

That's what efficiency numbers are for.

That's your opinion. I'd like a statistic if you can find one.

Statistically Jalen Hurts and JT Barret were top 10 in QB rating. Sometimes stats don't show the entire picture.

So again, are you able to answer the question of if "isn't far-fetched" means the same thing as "without a doubt"? You keep ducking that one, and it's a pretty fair request on my part given how idiotic you're being.

LOL, taking all of my points and diluting them to "your RB had over 1,000 yards" doesn't make you right, dipshit. What I said held a ton of merit, yet I notice you can't offer anything to the contrary.

I'm aware USC had no shot. That's my point - they were given no respect at all despite being a P5 conference champ. They were fucking pissed.

And no, you didn't watch the Auburn UCF game. They looked slightly more fired up after halftime, but they played effortlessly for basically the entire first half. I'm not the only one who has pointed this out. UCF came in with something to prove while Auburn came in with nothing to gain.

Ahh do I really have to do this?

I said “so Ohio State doesn’t have to play their best game and it’s still a 35+ buckeye victory?”

To which you said “yes it is”

WTF does that look like you stupid fuck?

You are the one pumping your running game up. Yet that somehow means your defense will stop UCF from scoring more than 7 points. Bahahahahaha, you have yet to say anything of merit on how you’ll beat UCF by 5 touchdowns.

Yeah, a usc team was pissed that’s why they looked so good in the cotton bowl.

An yes, I did watch the peach bowl you stupid fuck. If auburn didn’t give a shit they wouldn’t have kept coming back from deficits. Auburn was More fired up at halftime? UCF score majority of their points in the second half. Do you even watch football?
