Let's hope that the Huskies can find a way to win in the desert.

Last Petersen was asked about that he said they were still working that out. Smith is already gone and Hamdan won't be joining the team until after the end of the NFL season. It will be someone already on staff.
My Christmas came early this year when I found out OSU hired that guy.

Both teams have the talent and the coaching to win. Does one of them not really want to be there or feel disappointed playing in that bowl? Kids can say they are excited but Washington was in the playoffs last season. Does this bowl feel like a step down? Penn State was close to the Playoffs last season and was happy to be in the Rose Bowl. They had higher hopes so do they feel this as a let down? Or like the USC Ohio State game does facing a top team take the sting out of ending up in the game. The teams have a couple weeks of practice for the bowl game. If one team doesn't feel motivated for it they wont practice hard and probably lose. Vegas doesn't always pick the better team as the winner they take into account who wants to be there. Underdogs cover or win outright more in bowl games because of this.
I think this game will be decided off something much more basic. Whoever executes better wins. Both teams have the talent and the coaching to win. Good thing they didn't got "Last 5 games" or Ohio State wouldn't be nearly that high!

What do ya mean? Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Michigan State, and Penn State. Nothing wrong with those games
He put up Phil Steele's "Teams with the best Average game grade over the last 4 games". I said it was good that he didn't include the last "5" games or Iowa would have been included in there.
