Favorite Ethnic Food Group (Not American Foods)

What's this shit about Tex-Mex? Any good?

I chose "other" because I like a variety. Greek/Eastern Mediterranean and Thai are two of my favorites - especially if the seasonings are authentic & the food hasn't been too "Americanized." That being said, I'm always down for dining at a good Mexican taqueria. And there are some great Vietnamese diners in West Nashville that I used to frequent when I lived up there. I like some Italian, too, but not as much as the ethnic foods mentioned above.

I've had Caribbean food, too, that I liked, but I don't know how authentic it was. I've also tried Russian, but found it a bit bland. I like some Korean dishes, but it's not that high on my cravings list. I also like Indian, but it's not at the top of my list, either. And it's hard to beat good ole Southern Style cooking. I'm up to trying just about anything.

I got a Grecian Gyro next to me. It's more fast-food style Greek, but those gyros are goddamn good.

Once a Week Go Greek
