There's plenty to love about him..there's plenty of question marks..just like all the other QB's this year...kinda why I wouldn't touch a single one of them until after Barkley, Chubb, Ward, Nelson and Fitzpatrick are all gone

Well, I wouldn't call it educated. I am on an island outside a friend or two.

I'm scared of the Raiders too. Wouldn't mind to see us trade up to Chicago if Nelson goes before 8 (thinking Bears won't trade back if he's there). Irrational hope for me is the three DB go, leaving Edmunds for Raiders and Roquan for us.

Yes, ahead of Lamar. I do have 6 going in the first round. I still have a week to tweak it before my challenge begins.

I honestly can't believe that is even a thought...by the staff, or a fan. The factors heavily weigh against it.

1) A.J. sucks, rookie comes in and sucks.
2) A.J. sucks, rookie comes in and is good.
3) A.J. sucks, rookie comes in and is great.

4) A.J. is good, rookie sucks in practice.
5) A.J. is good, rookie looks good in practice.
6) A.J. is good, rookie looks great in practice.

7) A.J. is great, rookie sucks in practice.
8) A.J. is great, rookie looks good in practice.
9) A.J. is great, rookie looks great in practice.

Only one of those scenarios make trading up worth it. One more makes it tolerable. The rest make it the worst pick since Terrell Troup. Or to those that don't know the Troup story, we'll say Losman (the last time we traded up for a QB)

Troup was picked immediately before Rob Gronkowski, a Buffalo native. Because we needed a Nose for our new 34 scheme.

Losman was traded up for (different, sure, trading into the back of the first), but gave up the next year's 1st.
A) Next year, waiting long enough in the green room for "our" pick? Aaron Rodgers.
B) Instead of trading in the back of the 1st, and picking Lee Evans at 13, how about a package up two picks to get Big Ben? (okay, maybe that is me being a hindsight hypocrite)
