exactly, im not as sold on barkley as others though, you know he only had like 13 or 15 100 yard games out of i think 38 career games........
Men .I count 15 of 38, but, there's countless ways in college that that's not a big deal. Early blowouts in a third of the games each year chief among them. 1000 yards in 3 straight seasons and almost 6 ypc mean more to me when just looking at raw numbers

trent richardson says hi:suds:

Former Colts vice chairman Bill Polian called him one of the "three sure-thing players" in the 2012 draft

Not saying he will bust but is there ever a sure thing:suds:

TRich and about a hundred other dudes. Can't argue against that. But, since there are no true sure things, you go with the ones that look the closest to it, and no one out there puts anyone in Barkley's class

Yeah I don’t trust polian. The colts would have drafted much better if his evaluations were on point

Chiefs D could lose Marcus Peters today... Trading him to LAR.

Does this put the Rams D in the top 2-3 talk for fantasy next year? I think so.

Well, can't say I'm sorry about that - at least in D1. ....

Rumblings out of Denver that they may be after Talib too...
If I were LA i’d stay away from that trade. Peters has already shown he is a tad immature so putting him in a room with an egomaniac like Talib could be detrimental. Talib would be a horrible mentor for a young guy like Peters to look up to.

Sure, but the whole point with defense is getting value. Like the Rams last year. Look for keys like a new coordinator with a good track record or a bunch of talented youth that hasn't hit their groove yet and/or got a huge Dline piece in the off-season. Rams and Jags respectively.

From Rotoworld:
- Matt Forte announced his retirement from the NFL after 10 seasons.
- Panthers released RB Jonathan Stewart.
- Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said ILB Ryan Shazier (back surgery) will not play in 2018.
- Bears informed QB Mike Glennon of his release.
- The Athletic's Vic Tafur reports the Raiders will bring back Michael Crabtree for the 2018 season.
- NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports free agent RB Chris Ivory is visiting the Browns on Tuesday.
Released by the Jaguars last week, Ivory visited the Bills on Monday and reportedly has another visit scheduled for Wednesday.

More but these seemed to be the most relevant. .... and certainly more to come. ....

My problem with Barkley is more with history. Penn State running backs in particular. I just don't trust them. Curt Warner had probably the best NFL career but hell he retired in 1990. Larry Johnson was recent enough that we can all remember him being a monster in 2005 and 2006, but that was essentially it as the rest of his career was very forgettable. All the other Penn State running backs reads like a list of busts. Now don't get me wrong, it's not like I wouldn't draft him if I have the top pick in a dynasty draft, but I would be a lot more likely to trade it.

That was mostly due to injury. I think Barkley is special, though. I could see him going #1 overall after he kills it in the combine.
