Ive seen both sides to the Hyde story. He is on alot of breakout/sleeper lists and then you see the surprise cut story. I would be shocked if they cut him because he is cheap this year. No reason to not see what he can do in the new system before turfing him if he doesnt fit.

Naw their not going to cut him, he's still on a rookie contract. Trade him? Could happen, maybe, but probably not. It does seriously look like he's not going to be a 49er in 2018 though.

i couldn't find the coach-speak thread that i think either @averagejoe or @Chef99 started a couple yrs back, but it seems only about 10% of what they say actually happens, so tough to take any of it seriously right now
