Love the pick, gave up nothing and got the most polished and football savvy OT in the draft.....I'm hoping we get Dee Ford in the next round

I love the pick too. This is exactly how we're going to get back on top.

You know I'm happy. Now that Ford is off of the board Stephon Tuitt doesn't seem like a bad option for the 2nd round.

Love it. I was fine with Matthews/Barr/Mack/Robinson, glad we landed Matthews and didn't have to move any pieces off the team.

Nice move by TD. Not sure which side but he starts next yr.

Ealy, Lawrence are more 4-3 type edge guys, but Hageman and Tuitt are both good 3-4 DE type guys. Hageman can play a 4-3 DT also.

If he cut a few pounds on the offseason Tuitt could be a 4-3 end. I like Lawrence too and wouldn't be disappointed with either.

Wish I could deliver on that, but just a rumor so far...Berry is owed a ton the next 2 yrs so I'm wondering if that has squashed it.

That's been the beauty of this draft from day one, 6 and 37? Can't miss this year for what ATL needed...One of the DEs will be there.

If they don't make a deal for a S, then I do question finding one in the 3rd (Ed Reynolds maybe)...the grades fall off to 4th round or later pretty quick.

He's the type of player we need, i'd be willing to take on that contract. It's not like we don't need help back there. I hope your rumor is correct.

Well...I spreaded it here to SportsHoopla, but Carl Dukes...92.9 the game show host was the source of it and he's normally good, but Leadbetter did not confirm it or deny it and he's the resident Falcon beat writer.

The part about KC wanting to move him I've heard before though.

Isn't Reynolds a bit small? Even though he is coming off of knee surgery I like Exum as a 4th rounder (if available).

Listed @ 6'1" 207...good size...I think...I like Stanford guys that carry a good rating...they typically play up to their ability. Have never seen Exum play.

He's from VaTech (6' 213lbs). Tore his ACL Jan 2013 and missed a lot of the 2013 season from both that and an ankle injury. He has played free safety and defensive back for Virginia Tech so he has some experience at the position and can cover well. He has a decent wingspan without being too thinly built too (pretty much the knock on most of the guys left). I think he would have been a 2nd or 3rd rounder if he had a healthy 2013 campaign.

That explains it because I saw Vitech play 3 times this year and don't remember him...ok, some options out there...I know TD will a stop gap vet if they can't get a starter from this draft.
