284 ypg, 62.9%, 8.11 y/a, 76.4 rat, 0 TD/g , 1 TO/g

vs

183 ypg, 59.4%, 6.65 y/a, 77.5 rat, .6 TD/g, 1 TO/g

242 ypg, 61.8%, 8.33 y/a, 81.5 rat, 3 TD/g, 1.57 TO/g

Depends on how they weight the stats, and they do take into account situational play as well. Again, small sample size for Mahomes, but decent stats in that appearance.

Tough crowd on Fournette. Dude missed 3 games and still finished with over 1,000 yds rushing and 9 TD.

Only league average at ypc (3.9) and not a big receiver (although had better rec stats than I expected). Must be some situational stuff as well.

Mahomes was also playing with Chiefs backups. I'm not saying that the sample size is important but he probably could've done a lot better playing with Chiefs starters

U can’t grade him higher based on 3 snaps
They have a rigid methodology. They aren't changing a grade because sample size. What they should've done is listed snap counts and/or percentages so people can make intelligent interpretations based on context if you trust their grading.

Yep - Ross and some others should probably just be marked as TBD. However he wasn't being permanently switched to CB - just was considered for one game since most of their CBs were injured (& he has played the position before).

It is also kind of silly to put stock in rookie QB ratings since their real value typically comes in future years. Look at someone like Wentz who improved dramatically from year 1 to year 2.

I think for the 49er players it is pretty good. Reuben Foster when he has played has looked like Patrick Willis. Solomon Thomas has been inconsistent. He has his good moments and his bad and needs to get better
