Turtle is an underrated food animal. Turtle soup>>>

Rattlesnake is good too.

But really, Gator and bear are the only animals I've tried that I didn't like.
I've had Gator but not bear. Didn't really like gator.

Gator is for boots and bear is for rugs.

Bear is tough, full of gristle and really greasy. Maybe my old neighbor didn't cook it right, but the first impression is hard to shake, and I doubt I ever try it again.

When it comes to BBQ, nothing beats the Carolinas. I'd go with Memphis as a second choice and then Georgia. Beef ain't BBQ, and sweet, sticky sauce like they have in KC is for kids.
I'm curious as to what BBQ places you've been to now because clearly you've got some issues down in Georgia if thats your opinion

I don't go to many BBQ restaurants. I make my own, and I'm pretty good at it.

Ah. I know a few people who put more effort into BBQ but Im pretty lazy.

Sausage is where KC BBQ shines, imo. Pulled Pork I can go any route but I'll do Vinegar more often than not.

ACC & SEC 'Give me two conferences that eat that shitty vinegar based BBQ for $500 Alex.'
:nono:

Vinegar based BBQ is the only BBQ for a hog. Mustard based is for leg quarters and the red stuff is for ribs. If you're cooking a hawg, vinegar based is the only way to go.

But seriously, AG, the SEC's territory touches pretty much every style of BBQ out there. From the Carolinas to Georgia to Tennessee to Missouri to Texas.

The best stuff is just found in the SEC East not including Missouri.

Except the 6 or 7 or whatever world champion in pork comes from Alabama.

I agree with you on the bear. I thought it was greasy and gamey, but I enjoy some gator tail.
