The money grab might be over for college football, next round of tv deals might not be so big.
I think it will be just different. For instance, I can see something like Netflix or Amazon paying the B10 network to stream games. It's just going to switch how it's done. Look at how much Amazon just paid to broadcast Thursday night football. But it's certainly disastrous for companies built on a model that requires cable companies force people to buy their product.

Is it possible that I know 50 people who work at ESPN to begin with?

Well so far out of the people that have tweeted, I know Ed Werder(NFL), Scott Burnside(NHL), Dana O'Neil(NCAAB), Paul Kuharsky(NFL-Titans).

Really bummed about Dana O'Neil, her and Eamonn Brennan are the only people worth reading for NCAAB on espn.com.

If you thought that ESPN gave zero fucks about the NHL, they really don't give a shit now. 3 NHL guys among cuts so far.

Not just CFB...I think the money grab for the prized NFL is going to take a hit when this TV contract comes up for renewal.

Generally speaking I just think the 4 letter people just thought they were on par with the networks and started slinging money around for these over saturated sports.
