Not according to Cassius Marsh. Apparently he had a no fun time playing for the Patriots. LOL.

I was trying to remember a play he was in until I remembered a game (KC?) where he was supposed to cover a running back coming out of the backfield and the back just ran by him to catch a long TD pass!!

So yeah he sucked. :D

He forgets that not every coach is a rah rah coach like PC is. BB is a whole different type of animal which comes with success as well. He may not have liked it but I'm sure he didn't mind cashing those checks on Tuesdays.

Yeah, It's no big secret that playing for Bill Bellicheck and the Patriots is rough as hell but they do win a lot and that counts a lot for many players.

And a lot of players who play there also say they learn a lot while they're there.

So yeah it's a tough cost for many players but not without it's rewards.

I personally have no problem with players like Martellus Bennett, Ted Washington and Chris Long who played hard and often hurt for the Patriots and then moved on. It's not for everyone.

Even Malcom Butler who did sort of get screwed by the Patriots after winning them a Superbowl benefited and profited from the relationship.

Literally the only play I can remember him in. Yeah.... I guess he didn’t have fun.

Rosters change too much, there are 3-4 months left to get to the season. These rankings are useless, but entertaining.

Edit: On seond thought, I rather like the ratings. #homerface

BB is an old throw back coach. If you don't buy in, you're gone. If you don't work your ass off for a shot at the trophy, you're gone. Players don't have to like him but he does get 110% out of them and the results show in the trophy case.

Atlanta at 8 is probably a spot or 2 low imo but not awful. SF is too high . Some of the offense and defense rankings are totally terrible though

NE gets a 6 game handicap each year. that helps.

Then again, PHI gets to play DAL twice a year. Not as big of a handicap. But it helps. :D

So the Rams have an All Pro kicker and punter and they are ranked 16th in Special teams.

I doubt the Eagles even win the division this year.

I pay no attention to the ESPN Power Rankings especially 4 months before the season starts. I'll give it about 4 weeks until I start to pay attention to the rankings. That's when you'll start to find out who the contenders and pretenders are.

It could also be that the rest of the AFC East would be better if they didn't have to play NE twice a season.
They would be better but its hard to ignore the other 3 teams point differential and the fact that each team wanted to move on from its QB this offseason.

It's funny to me how people talk about the Pats are great because of the division they are in. The Pats have become the best team in the history of the game. What they have accomplished in the FA era, with one QB and coach is unprecedented. As a team they have been to 10 SBs,under BB and TB eight SB and won five of them. They have won the AFCE 12 times and 6 in a row if I am correct. But they still must face teams from other divisions then get to the SB, they must beat those teams, then they must win the SB, not an easy task. The whole Pats are in a easy division that's why they succeed is as ignorant an argument as the TB is a system QB argument.

Let's be serious

The only team that already won their division this season is NE

And it's not for the reason NE fans want us to believe

It is for the reasons we want you to believe. They have arguably the best Coach, QB, TE and slot receiver in the game with a well balanced run game. The defense worries me and the defense is why they lost the SB.
