How the hell is Michigan third? They finished like 7th in the conference last year.
Maybe you've missed it, but we now have, basically, a Heisman winning QB this year.

Who will be out for the year after the fourth game when he gets murdered with that OLine that couldn’t block a grandma with a walker. He has already been injured. Also his style does not fit Harbaugh’s style of offense.

But he will rack you up another September Heisman.

Can you post anything that states meeeechegan's QB is a current Heisman favorite?

He had three good games last year, that’s enough for certain Michigan fans to hand out Heismans.

In 2017, ohio State's JT Barrett was 7th in ESPN odds.

Sports Betting News and Vegas Odds

That list had Bo Scarborough from Alabama at 7th.

2017, SI had

Top five value bets for the 2017 Heisman Trophy

Saquan Barkley Penn State
Deondre Francois Florida State
Mason Rudolph Ok State
Darrius Guice LSU
Shane Buechele Texas

Obviously, early Heisman predictions carry a lot of weight and mean quite a bit

I mean they are guessing they will be the best. I think it was 2015 everyone said Pac south was a dominant division in the conference and overall. they weren't

Unless there is a lot of fall-off after switching offensive, defensive & special teams coordinators, the two top teams should be from the SEC again, with the 3rd best coming from the ACC or Big 12; the next 3 teams would be from the Big 10, followed by one from the Pac-12 & one from the AAC.

The Big 10 is really tough at the top, but their best team may only be 4th or 5th best in the nation.

The point is a conference with 4 more teams has about a 25% better chance of being able to pick a better team. You can say "your" 5 best but you get to pick from a field of 14 where as the Big 12 gets to pick it's 5 best out of a field of 10.
You're to busy trying to thump your chest to see the difference.

Here's a way to solve the Big vs Big conundrum:

compare the top two teams in each conference, the bottom two teams in each league, and the two teams that approximate the middle. For the 12-2 League that would be teams 1-2, 9-10, & 5-6; for the 10+4 League that would be 1-2, 13-14, & 7-8.

Still wrong. The fact that one conference has more teams will always give them an advantage. Let me use this analogy. It’s like a 6A school playing a 4A school. The larger school should have better athletes because they have a larger pool to choose from.

ESPN should stick to politics and let a real sports network talk about college football.

That is the whiniest excuse I ever heard. If you have fewer schools, that should concentrate the athletes into fewer teams. Expansion always waters down the talent, or so I've heard.

That’s the most assenine thing anyone has said. I hope for your sake you’re drunk or high.
