Might not be wrong, but the safety market has been pretty dead, and it's not hard to figure out why with Thomas on the block and Mathieu on the market.

Similar cries of shenanigans were over on the MLB board and when players like Hosmer and Darvish actually put pen to paper, there were subsequent signings. It's not magic. Do better than cry wolf.

Owner and GMs have a right to assemble a team they feel share a similar moral compass. If the feel Reid is a distraction from that then he won't get signed. Same token the man has a right to express his thoughts but has to accept you reap what you sow.

Yeah I know, I agree in some sense with the message players were trying to send. And I feel they meant no disrespect to our military, but asking the to pledge to a flag that promises Liberty and Justice for all is a jagged pill for some. Because they do not feel there is justice for all or that it's done in a fair and equitable manner.

What a tool. Organizations want players that are going to help them win first and foremost, not be mediocre with 2 years of injury issues (12 games in last 2) while spouting off political bullshit and then creating drama in the media. If you weren't getting many offers before, can guarantee you're sure as hell not getting more after your bogus statement. Certainly nothing long term with a huge guaranteed amount. Maybe instead of kneeling and ranting to the media you should work on conditioning and how to actually tackle people.

And you completely have the freedom of speech, which you so clearly demonstrated. Now you're facing the consequences of that action. If you run around telling all the players on your team to fuck off and you're 'sick of these cracka ass white boys', great. Do it. You have the right to. I doubt many teams will want to hire you after the fact or you've at least SERIOUSLY diminished the # of teams in the market for you.

And not everyone needs a SS, let alone any safety... and the class is loaded with them. Vaccaro, Burnett, Mathieu and Thomas (trade block) are all way better than you and haven't seen much movement.

Yeah agree. He should be on a roster by training camp though. Not going to make a big deal out of it now but if late July/early August come and he's not on a roster then it is a problem IMO

Lol, teams face far more worse distractions than a guy PEACEFULLY protesting. Did these distractions stop the Eagles from winning the Super Bowl because they had some of the most outspoken players about this subject? It's not the so call distractions these Owners are using as an excuse. it's the message Kaep is sending with these protests that they don't like.

If guys were protesting and taking a knee for how bad this country treat Veterans, then Kaep would still be on a team.
