You seem so convinced I watch ESPN all the time. I haven't had ESPN on for something other than a game in as long as I can remember. I've watched them play. They have a legit offense, and can score with anybody, which works in the Big XII.

So pencil every game a win and as a CFP team.

Pimp Gundy as a great coach.

psssst

THEY LOST AT HOME TO CENTRAL MICHIGAN LAST YEAR!!!

MAC CENTRAL MICHIGAN

Do I need to say it louder?

CENTRAL FUCKING MICHIGAN

Please quote he post I said that in. I listed people who were not great their first few years and went on to be successful. I don't want to get into a pissing match with you about something you imagined I said.

Guise....this is kinda moot as TCU is in thee process of rolling Okie Lite as we speak

NO NO NO

Gundy's great. All he has to do is beat Oklahoma and he's in the CFP. That's it. Pencil in the rest as wins, cuz Gundy's great. He almost had them in the NC 6 years ago if he hadn't lost to (6-7) Iowa St.
But this is 2017. Pencil in everyone but Oklahoma.

Pretty sure Frost is making a hell of a statement to the Board of Regents at Nebraska

Maryland averaged 6.1 yards per carry against Texas on the ground, 10.2 against Towson.

Today they averaged 1.1 per carry at home against UCF.

UCF averaged 6.4. That is domination.

You make it sound like it was the fans hiring these people. I will give part credence to Bop but the ADs are hiring these guys and the problems outside of Osborne (who went with the fans cry) don't know Nebraska history, tradition or culture let alone our conferences. We need someone who will come in and not necessarily bring us back to our roots but go with what works here. That is why I supported Riley originally because he was supposed to be able to develop players. Unfortunately we aren't seeing that.

Anyway I digress, the wrong ADs are why we are getting the wrong coaches.

The problem with Riley was he hired friends. I don't think he got just how important winning is here at Nebraska. He still has issues with friends he hired on the offense.

Bo did the same thing.

So did Callahan.

Not saying it's right, but assembling a coaching staff at a new place isn't easy. Timing is everything. I know I keep going back to Dabo, but look at how his staff changed the first few years on the job. People aren't available, not looking to move, etc. It happens in many coaching changes.

Absolutely. Who are you going to bring with you other than the people you already know.

It's not like you would have time to move to a new place and start interviewing a bunch of dudes to fill assistant roles.

Except they were ready to run Franklin out of town after starting 2-2 last year getting beat by Pitt and slaughtered by Michigan.
Not sure what you are saying. I had said if this season was a dumpster fire (if things kept getting worse, 5-7) these coaches would understand his firing.
I'm not sure but it seems you are saying that is wrong. You're saying if we are 4-8, 5 - 7 at the end of the year we have to keep him at least one more because James Franklin turned it around after 2-2?

Am I missing something? Because taking a 2-2 start and turning it into 11-3 is nothing like taking 1-2 to 4-8, 5-7.
As for giving the new AD aa chance to evaluate that I agree with but that is not what you are arguing with me. You were saying we would not be able to get good coaching talent because another coach was 2-2 at some point in time.
