Eddie Lacy: "I eat because I'm unhappy, and I'm unhappy because I eat. It's a vicious cycle"

He was a healthy scratch last game and had to watch from the sidelines as our #7 pick (Carson) tore up the field for 97 yards rushing on the day. If that doesn't motivate Lacy to play harder and stay trimmer then I think he may be doomed in this league. Too bad, I was wishing well for the guy.

Him and AP both cut by Week 5 the latest IMO

I think you might be right about Lacy. AP, I'm not so sure about. With AP they just aren't giving him enough carries. He's kind of the opposite of Lacy, Peterson is in great shape and he's begging to get on the field more. I think AP can still be a decent RB but he's the kind of guy that needs to touch the ball more than 6 or 7 times a game.

I'm not sure why Lacy is so unhappy. These 5 things make me happy and he's got all of them

I think both AP and the Saints realize its just a terrible fit.....I can see them cut him almost as a "try to go catch on to another team" public statement........

I know he's the 3rd down guy, but IMO Vereen is your best back. Right now you need to throw all game long no matter what and having him in there helps with that option and he is good at running from the spread out formations you normally use. Let's face it, with Engram in there you will basically be playing 4 WRs. Vereen is best when he has space to work with.

I think Vareen will end up being most used this season, because at some point they will have to realize running Perkins behind that Oline just isnt gonna work, and the short passing game to Vareen will become the de facto run game

That was actually a good read. Puts a face and person behind the feast mode memes. His best bet is to just own it, because the trolls won't go away.

Prove them wrong and get back to 1k yard seasons. Or wither away into obscurity. If he's managed his money correctly he should be set for a long time even if this is his last season. I'd love to see a good redemption arc though.

He's not going to get them in New Orleans, and few other teams seemed interested.
