Sure, I can just list songs with sun or moon in the title, but they may not set the proper mood.

Here's what I got that I like so far:

2000 Light Years From Home - Rolling Stones
The Killing Moon - Echo and the Bunnymen
Dancing in the Moonlight - King Harvest
Space Truckin' - Deep Purple
Space Oddity - David Bowie
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina & the Waves
House of the Rising Sun - Animals
Moon Shadow - Cat Stevens (aka Yusuf)
Children of the Sun - Billy Thorpe
Eclipse - Pink Floyd
Blinded By the Light - Manfred Mann's Earth Band
The Sound of Sunshine - Michael Franti & Spearhead
Soak Up the Sun - Cheryl Crow
Why Does the Sun Shine - They Might Be Giants
Cold Day in the Sun - Foo Fighters
Walkin' On the Sun - Smash Mouth
I'll Follow the Sun - Beatles
Invisible Sun - Police
Bad Moon Rising - Credence Clearwater Revival
Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler

And my top song (so far)....

Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers

What about that one song... it was a collaboration between Elton John and somebody? Yeah... it was him and Michael Jackson, I think. It was called, Don't Let Your Son Go Down On Me.

just gonna make sure everyone knows most of these songs will last longer than the actual eclipse, but I like where your minds are at.

gonna drive with some friends out to the country to be pretty close to the epicenter for a full 2mins of eclipse - finally a perk for living in the St Louis area.
Great excuse to take a half day off work as well
