My prediction we lose Cousins to Denver. Browns take Rosen, Giants take Darnold, Jets take Mayfield, Cardinals move up to take Allen and our Redskins are forced to sign Jay Cutler :L

The WC is where does Eli Manning go?

There is little doubt that Elway has the hots for KC, but they have a cap issue. They will have to cut some serious players to make room for KC. Which means their vaulted defense most likely becomes weaker if they sign KC. Is that a situation KC wants to be in?

A) He won’t be paid like he is this year but to a better cap friendly number
B) I don’t think KC cares about whose D is better Redksins or Denver
C) Drawing a blank on another point so I’ll say @MilkSpiller22 stinks

One minute I think he is staying but I can see Denver wanting him and I can see him wanting to be in Denver.

Not saying it is true but I heard on TV or radio Eli will retire if they are going to let him go in NY.

/ Captain Sunshine hat on

Denver could afford Kirk and not cut anyone by restructuring Miller,Thomas, Talib and Sanders. That would give them around $50M in cap space, and provided Kirk costs no more than $28M against the cap in years one and two... it would give them a 4 year window to get the damn thing done.

Sure they could. That's a tall order, however, and no matter how they did it, it would be a financial anchor on the cap for a few years.

Everything is negotiable, including which #1’s, Cleveland might trade the Redskins for KC’s services.

If I was the Browns, I’d jump at the chance to trade this year’s #4 pick, and next year’s #1 pick in the draft for KC’s services, because I’d still be able to deal the first pick overall to some needy team, thereby recuperating the pick I just traded for a near top ten q.b.

The browns have a boatload or picks in this draft to begin with, and cap space.

I doubt 3 qbs get taken in the first three picks. I'm pretty sure that has NEVER happened, and (although I don't follow college football at all), I'm hearing that there are conflicting reports as to if any of the qb's are even first round talents.

1999 NFL Draft - Wikipedia

It happened in the 1999 draft - Couch, McNabb & A. Smith went 1,2,3 - obviously only one of them had success in the NFL.

If you were the Browns, you wouldn't make that trade for Cousins without getting him to sign a long term deal in Cleveland, and that's something he'll never do.
