NFL Network's Jane Slater reports Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (groin) won't play Week 11 against the Eagles.

It's a huge blow to a Cowboys' offensive line that yielded eight sacks in last week's loss to Atlanta. After being manhandled by Adrian Clayborn last week, Chaz Green will revert to the bench with Byron Bell filling in at left tackle. Smith remains week to week.

I thought Dallas would win if T Smith played and Philly would win if he didnt. I think Dallas regroups and plays great.

I don't feel good about this game without smith and zeke, lee. Zeke is an elite player. Our coaching staff is incapable of making adjustments. I expect more shitty officiating. I would not mind 6 wins and great draft picks. 9-7 and no playoffs we don't need. It's all or none for me. Lol

Tyron Smith Returns To Practice For First Time In Two Weeks

(Nov. 17; 12:02 p.m.) – It remains to be seen if he’ll play, but Tyron Smith was at least at practice on Friday morning.


There’s been no shortage of scrutiny about the Cowboys’ All-Pro left tackle since he strained his groin in their Nov. 5 win against Kansas City. Smith sat out of last week’s loss to Atlanta, in which his replacements surrendered seven sacks.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Friday that Smith would participate in the early going of practice, but he wasn’t yet sure how much he would do.

“We anticipate Tyron doing something in the early part of practice today, working through some individuals,” Garrett said. “We’ll just see how he is and see what his availability is for the ball game.”

It’s too soon to say if Smith will be available, but getting him onto the practice field for the first time in two weeks has to be seen as a positive development.

Now Sir....the above statement is not a prediction as you alluded to earlier, nor did I say I expect anything. I simply was trying to point out it's a week to week league with professionals on both sides

That's good. Glad you clarified. Before, if I was a Skin fan - I might think well it wouldn't shock him if they beat Philly and SD. What's he so worried about us for?

Counting Bailey, we are missing 4 All Pro's. The club still has the talent to compete. It's a big game for Garrett. It's time to outcoach someone. Philly's HC is one of their weak links. It's time to earn a payday and not just roll the balls out
