Brooks wasn't going to make the team and McDougle has looked solid so far in pre-season for the Jets. Week 4 of the preseason will be McDougle's audition to make the final roster.

Man. Could you imagine our secondary if this was even possible to sway this guy to us? Hayden, Jenkins, and Darby.. Also our depth at that position would be set. I can't see how this would even be possible? We don't have the picks and cap space to make a deal with the Brownies. Just dreaming about "what if" here.

And of course why don't we have the cap space? Because of the poor contracts/deals put together for Chase Daniel, Sam Bradford, Nick Foles, Vinny Curry, Michael Kendricks, etc.....

Don't know, only what I heard. That's why they are willing to move him - injuries, salary, and slipping.

If I am Howie I am on the phone trying to see what it would take to sign him. He may not be the best in the NFL but he is still a good corner IMO.

Now that they cut Brooks I think it is clear McDougle makes it as nickel type.

All in all, Howie is doing a good job of working every little angle to improve the roster and get some picks for guys who were not going to make the roster IMO.

Not gonna happen Rey. The Steelers are the favored team to sign him. He wants a $10M/year deal, and we don't have it. I just don't want Dallas to sign him.

Rosenhaus is his agent, so he is the one spreading the rumors, trying to drive up the price to sign him. We'll know tomorrow.
