Just heard this on Mike and Mike. Greeny pumped it as shocking and said Jay Ajayi and I figured nothing to do with us. Then he says Eagles and I almost drove off the road.

As much as I've been crazy about holding what picks we have left I'm pleased with Ajayi for one of the fourths. Nice!

Why would the fins trade him? He was pretty good last year. I have not followed the fish this year.

Sounds like the coach is pissed at team and sending a message possibly. Also, saw something about poor pass protection from him (which is what we actually need). So not sure if he's pouting cause of the way things are going in Miami and needs a fresh start. Would be nice to have him playing like the RB he was last year.

Looks like contract is super cheap. Still on rookie deal and signed thru 2018. So one more year after this on his rookie deal (something like 600k).

I did not realize he is a big back. I always felt he was more of a scat back, but he weighs 220. Admittedly, I do not watch much of the Dolphins even though I basically lived in Miami the past 2 years.

Maybe his lack of blocking skills made him expendable. I think he and Blount are similar, so next year, LeGarrett could be the odd man out. I really like Clement, and think he and Ajayi share the bulk of the carries along with perhaps Smallwood. WIP saying that he has some knee issues, so may not have a lot left, if true.

The Phins have a very unimaginative system despite good Offensive skill players as well as below average QB play ... Ajayi has plenty of talent and may thrive in a better offensive system like ours. Check out last year's #'s when they had better playcalling.
