They may like Taco Charlton or Malik McDowell, both of whom have super high upside but huge downside.
Too much bust potential on those two to consider at 14 ... at least for my taste.

Villanova football? Kidding, I know B West went to school there. I just think of Nova as a hoops school.I'd much rather take a flier on this kid in Rd 3
Villanova DE Tanoh Kpassognon continues to impress at Combine

Last year's trade for Carson Wentz ended up being Demarco Murray, Byron Maxwell, Kiko Alonso, Larry Tunsil (#8 pick, starting OT, Miami) & Worley (#77 pick, starting CB, Carolina) plus this year's #1.
Got the QB, but a 6 for 1 trade creates alot of holes.
Not a 6 for 1 trade unless you wish to be dishonest or incomplete in your analysis. You forgot to include/intentionally excluded the added cap space involved that opened up possibilities for filling any and all holes. Your analysis is lacking.
Actually it's fair to say we got Jeffery, McLeod and Lane Johnson with the money and we got Jalen Mills and Wendell Smallwood with the roster space. And that's in addition to getting Carson Wentz.
That is a reasonable interpretation...as long as you realize that your only getting one year of Jeffery for that. If he resigns your going way over the 56m that was freed up.
If it's Derek Barnett I wouldn't mind it at all. He's a complete DE who showed heart by doing everything at the Combine despite having the flu. Tape is really good on him and he would immediately fill the role left behind by Barwin. Vinny Curry showed nothing last year to justify the contract the Eagles gave him. We could really use an upgrade at End opposite Graham.
I think Barnett could easily be BPA at 14. List 14 guys better. He's 8 on the CBS Sports list. That may be high, but it's far from crazy to think of him as the best player in the middle of the first round.
