I liked Robinson a lot of of college but he's basically been just good enough to stay in the league. Doubtful a light bulb has turned on for him now but you never know.

The Eagles are hoping that he'll regain some of his 2015 form where he was a pretty decent player for the Chargers. Injuries cut him down last year, he'll likely be competing against some rookie we haven't drafted yet for a starting spot. I wouldn't get too worked up about this signing, he may not even make it out of training camp.

True, it an't hurt, but maybe his light will come back on. He was a bust - 32nd pick in the draft, I believe. At least he will have a chance to compete. Ray Didinger said today, that he doesn't offer much at all. We'll see.

Bottom line is that we need bodies at Corner and we are short on cap space. We got him for only a mil, so value wise it's not a bad snag to fill depth. The only move left to clear up cap space will be Ryan Mathews ... he will be released once he's cleared medically. Maybe Kelce if we find a trade partner, but I don't think he will be flat out released.

It was an insurance signing - they literally have no depth at all so he'll compete in TC. He's a vet and has starting experience so it only made sense to add someone like that - if he balls out and makes the team to offer something, great. If not and a rookie beats him out, nothing much lost.

Unless I missed something, this is a non-guaranteed contract for a guy who could help.

If he sucks, he's gone. If he's not, it's a steal. I fail to see any downsides here.
