It was just a reward, not a cap issue. Barwin wasn't going to restructure and not make out in the deal. Chip has more moves to make, freeing up more than enough cap space.

I think it's a good look for our locker room, especially after all the moves this off-season. Reward those who buy into your system and perform well on the field -- and handle their business in a professional manner off of the field.

Barwin is a guy that brings his lunch pail to the stadium, maybe not the most gifted but the blue collar kinda guy that I love as an Eagles fan. Good for him.

I stand corrected. Although I put up similar speed, reps, and cone numbers last time the local ice cream shop had a half price day. That said, still love the guy, just wish chipper wasn't so trade happy. I wanna buy his jersey, but just to be safe I'll wait for the Mariota to come out.
