Eagles give ring to 30-year secretary fired by Chip Kelly

I know y'all hate Eagles fans, and I can kind of understand why sometimes, but the Eagles organization is pure class.

A few years ago, Chip Kelly decided to fire the head coach's secretary, Carol Wilson, who had been with the team more than 30 years, for no apparent reason.

Well, the other day she gets a call and is told the team needed her ring size. She thought it was a mistake, but they said no, come get your ring.


Wilson was the woman who would type up the play list every week before a game. She would always joke to the coaches that they should call the flea flicker. Before the NFC title game, she texted with Doug Pederson, and he told her it was in the playbook that week. They called it: 41-yard TD.

She got hired by a financial firm run by former Eagle TE John Spagnola and moved on. It's true that owner Jeff Lurie should have stopped this shit when it happened. But to his credit, when he finally canned Chip he said he wanted to get back to a "family atmosphere" and hire a coach with "emotional intelligence", making it clear he thought Chip had messed up the mood of the place.

So the Eagles were perfectly fine letting her get fired back when Chip "Failure" Kelly ran the show, and apparently she's out of work the last 3+ years, but NOW after they won a Super Bowl when she wasn't even a part of the franchise (and LIKELY suing for SOMETHING) they recognize her and give her a ring? lol, huh?

Chip Kelly really had the power to fire someone with ZERO notice of that going to the OWNER of the team? Dude... fuck you Jeff Laurie. You're a piece of shit and clearly caved into Chip's douche moves and then later rescinded on the obvious terrible choices to make yourself look favorable and put blame on Kelly.
