OK boys, let's put this game to bed. Run, run, run. I bet Wentz throws the deep ball on 1st down , lol.

Contrary to popular belief, running the ball is not the cureall to every malady the offense has.

Collinsworth: "I love Kelce. He gets out in front of his RB out there. He almost looks like a fullback out there."

Yes Collinsworth because he is about the size of a fullback

of course not
but you still need to give it some juice to make both the running and passing life

The Eagles got away from the run in the 1st half for some reason
In second half they put some dedication into it and it helped passing game

I don't think anyone is saying run it all of the time

If the receivers had decided to catch the balls thrown at them, that would have worked just as well.

should be a TD - he bobbled it and didn't gain possesionuntil after he was in end zone

Celek needs to hold on that ball. It should have been a good 2 pt conversion.

A tale of 2 halves ... Pokes D played well that first half and we played flat. 2nd half adjustments and we kicked ass 30-0! Great win and barring a miracle the East is ours ....

first half was sloppy and I think I fell asleep during the halftime show.

Nice to wake up to a big 4th quarter lead, meaning I could go to bed pretty sure we had it in the bag (but maybe not with the way the Redskins game went down)

Loving what I am seeing from Lane Johnson, Barnett, the secondary. Dammit our D is pretty impressive and they all look like they love playing together.

You'd think having so many RBs would be an issue and one of them would be bitching (maybe Smallwood is) but dammit if they don't love their roles too. Fun to watch.

The dropped passes were an issue. I didn't see a lot that warranted flags, but the refs were keeping them in their pockets for the most part.

I hope we hold on to Jeffrey. I like him on this team. Torrey Smith can be replaced.

so Eliott got the concussion on the first kickoff where he stopped the Cowboys from getting 7. Good on him. That looked like a rough tackle for the kid to make.

Looks like it might be time to bring Sturgis back from the IR.

News: Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said there haven't been any discussions about activating Sturgis (quadriceps) off injured reserve when the kicker is eligible to return in Philadelphia's Week 10 matchup with Dallas, Zach Berman of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. (Mon Nov 6)

Spin: Sturgis was moved to IR after he came out of the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Redskins with a left quad strain. The injury was only expected to keep Sturgis out for four weeks, but even though he's presumably at or near full strength at this juncture, it doesn't sound like the Eagles are eager to bring him back onto the 53-man roster. That's largely due to the success of Sturgis' replacement at kicker, Jake Elliott, who has knocked down 17 of 20 field-goal attempts -- including five makes from 50-plus yards -- and 24 of 27 extra-point tries since being signed Sept. 12.

That was a fun second half! Didn't so much like the first half. But, a funny thing for me as an Eagles fan, I didn't feel any panic in the first half either. I didn't worry that here it is ....the worm has turned. There is a trust that this team (such depth on D-line and at RB) is a team built to not fade as the game goes on.

Dallas D was playing lights out in the first half. Yeah, I believe there was some rust on offense. I saw the incompletions/drops. Some of them were reminiscent of last year. Some also did not feel like they were thrown well, too.

Luckily this D (this fucking defense!!!) played solid the full game. Such a solid unit. The CB play has been the most amazing development this year. No one saw this coming. Loved Darby back. And Patrick Robinson just blew me away! This has been a special unit. They kept us close while the offense shook things off and then we just RAN away with it.

Loved so much about this win! Let's handle the Bears next week and get to that west coast swing. Finishing with Giants, Raiders and Cowboys shouldn't be too tough (even if two are division rivals). How we do against Seattle and the Rams is going to be very interesting to watch!

Kamu Grugier-Hill was the game MVP last night - it was a riot to see him bombing those kickoffs in the 2nd half. Great win and halftime adjustments to shake off the bye week rust.
