Let's hear what everyone thinks.

My personal preference is a rolling waiver. I don't like the reset. If your team sucks, you shouldn't just get to keep getting the top waiver until you turn it around. There are other methods.

Thoughts?

Well I prefer resetting, I have no problems with the worst team having the first pick, but rolling is perfectly fine

if there was a convoluted complicated way to do waiver wire, I am sure I would love it... Just don't see anyway to complicate it... waiver wire does not take up too much space in the milkspiller fantasy manifesto... I do think 2 waiver periods per week is better , but I don't think I am willing to even propose that for this league...

i did agree with this until last year in a league i was in , a guy had the first waiver pick for weeks on end...built up a roster of waiver wonders.....and came in the money, strictly because his draft sucked.......

Yes. .and no. .he had to pick the right guys. ..and you all had to pass on them the week before they became the waiver wire flavor of the week, so don't let yourself totally oFF the hook and blame the system :suds:

...and that's where I like the strategy of the format. If I'm not in a good waiver position, I feel totally confidant in my instincts in grabbing a guy a week or two before he's the guy to grab I feel if you're good enough at this hobby, you never have to have the best waiver spot to win the waiver wire game. ..maybe that's where I differ from some others, that #1 waiver spot just doesn't hold a lot of value to me, so let the not so fortunate teams have it, I say, I'll gladly beat them without it.

Of course when your in with 11 other guys like in the MBBRL, that becomes much more difficult because we're all that damned good

my biggest problem with the reset, the best part of fantasy sports IMO is the draft. the reset pretty much rewards the worst draft....

Not entirely accurate..it "rewards" the team who is performing the worst. That could be the team who drafted the best but had a crappy week right out of the gate, just as easily as it does the "worst" draft. Besides, the "worst draft" is highly debatable to begin with. I've scoffed at many teams after draft day that ended up being major playoff contenders

Looks like rolling is the overwhelming favorite. There is one thing I'd like put out there for consideration. If memory serves, the default initial order is set as last pick of the draft to first. Is everyone good with that, or should it be randomized ?

Last pick in the draft gets first waiver, is my opinion.
