I'm not saying they won't trade him. What you can't conclude is that Love signs an extension with whatever team he is traded to. He's not obligated to. They can't force him. A team may be willing to take a chance that he does (see Lakers/Dwight), but they'll be taking a chance. How do you know that Love doesn't want to become a free agent in the summer of 2015 and choose where he wants to play next (see Dwight/Houston)?

the question really is what's wrong with Minnesota. The last MVP caliber player they had was Garnett in his prime. Garnett has made no bones about leaving the Wolves was the best move he made in his career. Now Love is doing the same thing. They are the Orlando Magic of the West.

The great strides and improvement Durant has made (and what hes doing without Westbrook) in a TOUGH conference makes me think Durant is clearly the best in the game today (until a healthy Rose returns at least)
