He got lost in a crowded Milwaukee frontcourt last year, but he has Finals experience and still has a soft touch around the basket. Plus, he has that winning pedigree from his college days at Kansas. Gooden could be a useful rostrer filler after we traded away Miles Plumlee. As of right now, we only have four true big men on our roster - West, Hibbert, Scola, and Mahinmi. If nothing else, he'd provide a positive locker room presence.
