Drake Johnson doing well?

Brady Hoke was just on WTKA and said that Chris Bryant and Drake Johnson were two of the players who had strong camps. Not sure if that's just coach speak or if Drake Johnson really has a shot at decent playing time. Johnson was a local Pioneer kid with fairly poor offers and low ratings all around.

Bryant doing well is very good but mentioned that he had to have his knee drained a couple of times (gross).

Bryant had knee surgery last year (reason he missed his entire RS freshman season). The knee draining could be indicative of the procedure/rehab. It doesn't sound too serious.

From all I've read, and little I've seen thus far, Bryant could/should develop into a powerful road grader from the guard position. That's exactly what this current OLine needs.
