Does the last 21 days still apply to pitching trends?

It did a few years ago. I am wondering if that no longer works. Usually if a pitcher pitched well in the last 21 days, he was worth picking up.

Again. No. It's all about matchups. Marco Gonzales pitching well lately. Doesn't mean to pick him up for his AL East games the next two weeks.

On the flip side, a guy struggles against some hot lineups doesn't mean bench or drop him for an upcoming tasty matchup or two.

What happened last week or last month doesn't necessarily mean anything for the next week or month.

This topic is dependent on so many factors. Mostly how deep of a league it is.

In shallow leagues it will always be hard to trust players based on 21 days. But deeper leagues you may.

It used to be this way. It was someone ON THIS FORUM who suggested going after the best pitchers in the last 21 days. I think that was how I got Keuchel.

So who are the best teams to stream a SP against nowadays? The twins are a team that hits well on the road. I can't explain it, but it's something I notice.

I mean, standings watch? There is no general answer. You kind of have to look at each SP individually. (a good matchup for Aaron Sanchez doesn't mean a good one for Jaime Garcia).

If you're streaming SP in a weekly league, I'd start with the 2-start options and work my way down.

I picked up Rodon. Thought about the angels pitcher who's had good home/road splits.
