Perhaps the temps heating up will get the Dbacks bats hot as well. Pitching has been great, the offense needs to heat up. Projected highs for Fri 98F, Sat 98F and Sun 100F

Fri @ 6:40PM MST Walker (2-1) vs Wood (1-0)
Sat @ 5:10PM MST Ray (1-0) vs Maeda (1-1)
Sun @ 1:10PM MST Miller (2-1) vs McCarthy (2-0)

Well that was quite interesting, I would almost venture to say one of the strangest games I've ever seen.

Oh well, at least it was in our favor.

Last night was one of those games where you think it is slipping away. Catchup, give up the lead etc... missed chances to take the lead.

Then the 8th. what a strange inning. Walk to tie the game, balk to take the lead, more walks, single, 3 doubles = 9 runs and a WIN.

11-7 overall, 7-1 at home (really? who would have thought that before the season) and 4-6 on the road which easily could have been better.

Jeeze... putting Delgado (trash) in on a tie game, guess we are waiving the white flag.

AND: We also are playing without Tomas and Owings to further cripple us.

Maybe it will work out, but not looking so as I'm typing this with Gonzales hit now. ugh

Oh, and now a homer and 2-6 now and.

Not a very good inning. He of course pitched much better after that inning, but of course the bats weren't going either..
