Sorry for the oversight. Dan Gable was a great wrestler and coach and I really thought Iowa won their wrestling titles prior to that. Almost mentioned Iowa in my original post. At any rate, the Big10 dominates wrestling; before them: Oklahoma.

Don't forget fencing. We have more B!G Championships since we've joined the conference than any other school, not sure about Natty's but we have to be up there. Sorry I can't find the link but it's true.

Have never seen a fencing match. It's amazing that Penn State even fields a team. Is there some European fencing great there as the coach??? That said, get to watch the wrestling team a lot and Penn State has had great wrestlers for several years now; especially since Kael Sanderson(sp) became the coach. Same thing for Iowa a few years back when Dan Gable became their coach. Volleyball starts in about an hour and the Penn State women look unbeatable. Wisconsin is going to have to play lights out to stay with that bunch.

Wisconsin played great. Penn State is so much bigger, however Wisconsin was able to hit around the blockers and played great defense. I suspect the Wisconsin team felt they let that one get away. Could have, maybe should have won that match.

To be fair its not selective. Its just from the list of schools with 25 or more national titles. Never said the b10 had the most titles, just the most schools
