Do you think WVU fans would be happy to have zero experience behind their starter? That makes no sense.

WVU fans don't seem to be too giddy about Will Grier transferring to WVU. They make recruiting references... like why can't we recruit a kid like this out of high school? Wouldn't we want to have a kid for 4 years instead of less?

I'm giddy about Grier. He is an obvious improvement over what we have and a proven commodity. Even Trickett was an upgrade of what we had when he came in. Landing Grier may have saved Holgersons job last year. Having Grier most likely does hurt us in getting other good QBs to come in. They all know who our projected starter will be for the next 3 years. Hopefully we can keep him upright and healthy during that time.
