2014 was the last time he was healthy enough to play 16 games until last year.

Yup. I'll take Dez with McVay all day

I have a feeling he's going to stay with the Cowboys though maybe I'm wrong

Can we not talk about Sammy like we not do for Bradford, the guy never bought into the Rams. Never represented the Rams even on twitter, but from day one he is Chief. The only team he buys into is the team of money.

Rams trying really hard to assemble the all “big name” team.

Too many “alphas” and that locker room will implode.

Last year not really no. How hurt was he? Cowboys were a mess. He's only 29 so he's far from done. Needs a better offensive guru than Jason Garrett

Larry Fitzgerald says hi.

I wouldn't argue the Garrett thing, but Dez has seen better days.

Maybe. Or maybe they've got 2 great coaches -- 1 on offense, 1 on defense. Sounds like these players want to win and they are buying in

Dez being a cancer or a problem child was always blown out of proportion. The media loves drama, especially if it involves the Cowboys.

The real issue with Dez is the fact he's not a great route runner and his drops are becoming more prevalent. He masked all that by being more physically dominant than everyone else but ever since he broke his foot 2 years ago he seems to have lost that edge.

If the Rams are interested I would trade Dez for a couple of corn dogs.

Larry hasn’t had injury problems ever. Comparing Dez to Fitz was your first problem. Dez can still be a very good player in this league but a #2 is what would be best for him. Larry was and always will be a #1 for any team

Yet their stats are almost identical at age 29 and Dez isn't currently in his mid30s.

I don't think Dez is done and if anything he's going to be motivated. the Rams need are those types of numbers from him

Bryant's a good player but I do wonder how much he has left in the tank. Think he's more of a #2 at this point than a #1.

He drew the coverage away from Kupp and Woods. He didn't put up big numbers, and part of that was due to not having a preseason with the offense and Goff, who bonded early with Woods and during camp with Kupp.

Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz stated matter-of-factly that he anticipates the Cowboys will release Dez Bryant after the draft.

"The Cowboys will cut Dez Bryant, after the draft, but make no mistake -- they will cut him," Schultz tweeted Tuesday. As of two weeks ago, the Cowboys had reportedly yet to approach Bryant about taking a pay cut from the scheduled $12.5 million salary he's set to earn in 2018. But on Monday, EVP Stephen Jones said a talk with Bryant "still needs" to happen. The Cowboys recently added Allen Hurns and are apparently open to taking a receiver early in next month's draft. Bryant carries a $16.5 million cap number, and Dallas can clear $12.5 million by making him a post-June 1 cut. The 29-year-old would not struggle to find a new team. Dez Bryant may as well sign with the Rams like everyone else.

Very possible. Cowboys have spent lots of time talking to the top receivers in the upcoming draft

Dez is heading down the road to done if he doesn't change the way he plays. Or rather the position he plays. He is simply not a #1 guy. But he'd be a wicked inside option in the red zone on a team that could talk him into doing that role.

Having being a redskins fan, I’ve seen these paper champ teams fail miserably. Eagles “dream team” as well. The rams probably ought to tone it down a bit. They’re getting way too many egos. McVay and Phillips are great coaches, but McVay is young and Phillips in Dallas was a pushover for his team

I could care less about stats and actually watch him on the field. Des has lost s step or two, Fitz never did and is doing it still. He is an easy HOF, Dez might have a couple more years.

I'm with you on the stats and I don't even know if the Rams ago after Dez. But at 29 he's not done, he's just been hurt and I'm not a big Jason Garrett fan at all.

The point is the Rams just need another solid wide receiver.
